Details Of 2011 Diamondback Sortie 3 Full Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels)
The Diamondback Sortie series is the quintessential trail bike. Responsive enough for top level racing or those all day XC grinders, the Sortie craves and owns the singletrack domain. The Sortie Trail 5" frame is made of 6061-T6 Weapons Grade Aluminum with a hydroformed top tube and butted down tube and seat stays. Diamondbacks proprietary Knuckle Box suspension platform is at the core of this system. The Fox RP23 XV 5" rear air shock is custom-valved by Fox to fit the Sortie to a tee offering a low center of gravity and a low leverage ratio. Single sided hardware make maintaining your main pivots a snap by not having to remove the crank set from the frame. A well balanced ride with a Fox 32 Float RL Air 130mm fork. With rebound and lock out adjust, you have the capability to fine tune your fork appropriately for current trail conditions. Nicely decked out with a 10spd Shimano XT/SLX drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, you are guaranteed a top notch level of performance in a weight conscious package. Mavic 317 hoops offer a stiff and lightweight trail wheel while an Easton EA50 bar, stem and seatpost offer complementing performance and aesthetics. Super D’s, 24 hour races, grueling XC rides or peak to peak madness… it’s all achievable on the 2011 Sortie 3.Feature
