Really, really pleased with this - first off the delivery took 2 days, incredibly fast and also quicker than the stated time of 3-5 days. Came reasonably packaged with enough styrofoam to protect it in transport, any less styrofoam and I'd have worried though but in all perfectly adequate. Set-up of was a cinch as the majority of it was preassembled, it took about 5 minutes to get it fully operational.

It's quiet - I had been worried about the amount of noise it might make but it is very quiet, so that's a non-issue. Build quality - is superb: it looks great and is not over-bulky or heavy (it weighs over 20 KG but is certainly moveable). Operation - An easy-to-read LCD layout with clearly written instructions, just fine to use. In all, very relieved that I bought this, and at the price it is outstanding value. Importantly, you get (what I feel is) even higher quality than the price would seemingly dictate. (Put it this way: I can fully believe Amazon's product page when it says "You Save: £230.00 (58%)".)

The build quality, alongside the good looks of the design make this buy a no-brainer and I feel I couldn't have chosen better. In my humble opinion the high ratings for this treadmill and truly deserved and I'm certainly happy with giving this a full 5/5!

I ordered one of these at the start of the year and used it daily running up to the maximum 10km/h and then back to 5km/h for around 30 minutes a day.
At first I thought the treadmill was great - I loved the fact that it folded up small so I could store it easily and I liked the large buttons and the 3 automatic programmes.
I used it for the next 37 days until the aluminium tube on the left hand side cracked and gave way - making me nearly fall off! I am well within the stated weight limits of the treadmill too!
SportsPlc were very good with their customer service and after I emailed them photos of the damage offered to collect the faulty one and replace it and this took place on the day I asked it to.

I put the original one down to a fault in manufacturing and set up the new one. When I switched it on and started using it after about a minute the on/off switch went pop (which frightened the life out of me!!) but the treadmill continued to run - I got off and tried to switch it off but the switch was just rocking back to the on position and would not switch off so I unplugged it.

The next day I tried it again and the switch was back working again so I just put it down to condensation or something and continued to exercise daily with it. The switch did not have any further problems.
After 32 days of usage the same fault as the original happened - the aluminium tube on the left hand side cracked and gave way but again I managed to stop the treadmill safely. When I looked at the thickness of the aluminium I was suprised to see that it was no more than 2mm and I believe that it is not a suitable thickness to stand up to the resonance of running and after around 15 hours of running at full speed may exhibit metal fatigue as mine has done twice.

Once again I couldn't fault SportsPlc as after I emailed them they collected the treadmill and refunded my original purchase price which I have now spent on another treadmill from an alternative supplier.

However I would advise anyone who has this treadmill to fully check the aluminium tubes for any signs of cracks or metal fatigue before every use as it could pose a danger if it went when running at top speed.

I'd give SportsPlc 5 stars for customer service but I'll give this product only two stars as the two I had clearly had design faults.

Edit: I've had the product two weeks. I managed to work up to walking for two and a half hours on it, and the motor burnt out. The machine's not intended for long term walking, clearly. I'm outside the 7 days the seller allows returns for, so I'll see what I manage to get by returning it.

I bought this because it looked easy to disassemble, as well as being good value for money. My plan was to get a standing workstation for my computer, and to get a treadmill to walk on at 1-2 mph while I worked or played games. Getting the case off the control unit was easy - the cable was glued in at the socket, though, so took some careful working to get out in one piece. Once done it was easy to thread through the tube, and then you just undo some bolts to take the whole vertical section off: No cutting required. The unit works perfectly well without it, once you reattach the cable to the control unit.

I have this under my desk, and find it very easy to walk at 2 mph and still type. The cable for the control unit is long enough that it reaches up to the keyboard shelf, so it's easy to adjust the speed.

There's only one programme - and it lasts for 30 minutes. Once you get going doing things on the computer the time passes very quickly, and I'm surprised that I need to press the start button again. You do need to build up gradually to walking for extended periods - I could only manage an hour or so on the first day. It definitely felt better than standing, though, as the movement helps your circulation, and standing without it I'm constantly shuffling around to be comfortable.

So I'd recommend this treadmill for a cheap, decent under-the-desk set-up. I'm using an Ikea Fredrik desk to work on, as it has three desk areas you can put on at custom heights.
