It's got almost everything: fast processors, responsive touchscreen, high resolution, MS Exchange, nice camera... even a fingerprint sensor, which to my knowledge no other phone has. Mine never locks up or fails and gets good reception. It rarely drops calls.
So you might be wondering why I only gave it 4 stars instead of five. The reason: the phone call quality is mediocre. Callers say that I sound like I'm in a bucket, unless I'm on my bluetooth headset. And it's pretty hard to hear my callers; I don't have bad hearing, but I do have to keep the volume up at 90% to 100% at all times. Any lower is too soft, but that high it distorts.
So overall it's a super-cool phone, but it doesn't have the most important aspect that I require in all phones: good sound. I am happy with it because I use all the other smartphone features much more than I talk on it. And when I talk, it's usually with bluetooth.
This phone has to be one of the most underrated phone. Its fast, beautiful and quite powerful. I'm not much fan of large screen phones, 3.7 - 4.3 inch is what I feel best. It's real handy, has a very good processing speed and graphics coupled with 1GB RAM and surplus internal memory (16GB), there's a memory slot for extra storage aspirants. Although the phone doesn't brags like others - RETINA DISPLAY, SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY whatever, the qHD screen is exquisite - crisp and clear.Motorola Atrix 2, Samsung Galaxy Note , Sony Xperia U ST25A-BW, New Sony Xperia, N7000 Samsung , Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Sony Xperia U ST25A-BP, Apple iPhone 4S , Apple iPhone 4S 16GB , Nokia N8, HTC MyTouch 4g , Apple iPhone 4S , Apple iPhone 4S , Samsung Galaxy Note, Apple iPhone 4S, Apple Iphone 4, Apple iPhone 4 Black , Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPhone 4S, Motorola Milestone XT720, Apple IPhone 4 , Samsung GT-S7500 , Samsung Galaxy Note, HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 II, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Apple iPhone 4 , Apple iPhone 4 8GB , Samsung Nexus S, Apple 3G iPhone , Apple iPhone 5, Samsung GT-i9250, Sony Xperia sola MT27i-BLK, iPhone 3GS , Nokia 808, Apple iPhone 4 , Nokia Lumia 900, iPhone 4S 32GB, Sony Xperia S LT26i-BK, Apple iPhone 4, Blackberry 9320, Apple iPhone 3G , Apple iPhone 5, Sony Xperia P, HTC HD7 S T9295 , Apple iPhone 4S, Apple Iphone 4, RIM BlackBerry Bold 9930, Samsung Galaxy Note, Apple Iphone 4
The best thing is it comes with a Headset, and all the ingredients such as USB, Battery, Dock - you can enjoy your multimedia or read PDF books with ease. The battery life is good, not like what other users said. I turn the Wi-Fi off most of times, perhaps I achieve a better battery life, but do some gaming and watch movies.
For your information, the phone is an unlocked international phone i.e not an AT&T or T-Mobile unlocked phone. Therefore, you can use this phone anywhere in the world. However, I'm using it with an AT&T SIM and it's working fine. If you're looking for a phone with the best price, don't think twice. But it, straight away.
For the price, it is just an amazing cellphone. I Highly recommend NOT to buy the at&t unlocked version, it's better to get the european factory unlocked cellphone. Away from that point, it really is an amazing machine. It gets almost no lag even though you have every screen with multiple live widgets, It's a monster when it comes to storage capability, with its default internal 16gb, it can be expanded 32gb more with a microSD card, making it a 48gb cellphone. It can be customized with either the android widgets or with the motoblur ones. Motoblur sometimes is a little messy, but it will become a powerful tool once you get the hang of it. It has a 5MP camera with dual led (the flashlight app is a blinding light!) gets quite good pictures.

If you want a phone that can be your great storage ace, this is it. A powerful machine processing data and an even more powerful one in the storage department. Also if you want a secure phone, the biometric lector for the fingerprint works just fine, and will make your phone a mobile fortress. I highly suggest to get the otterbox commuter for this phone, it will become much more natural feeling in your hand and will protect it from ANYTHING, since it comes with a screen protector also.
Prior to owning my ATRIX I had owned a Motorola Razr. I loved my Razr, it was always dependable and everything always worked on it. One day the inevitable happened and it fritz-ed out and died. Based on what I knew about the Motorola phones by experience. I did my research on what Motorola was offering through my carrier. I did not consider other brands because I had either personally had a bad experience with them, or a family member had a bad experience with them. In the end I came up with the ATRIX as the android based 4G phone to get. I stopped into my friends AT&T store and against his attempts to get me into another phone, I purchased the ATRIX and renewed my contract for another 2 years.
I had never owned a 4G phone before and there is a learning curve to get used to the features they offer and how to use them. I liked the idea of an App market place where a variety of android based applications was readily available. I had my ATRIX for about 3 months and all seemed well. I was at a picnic and was waiting for the festivities to start and decided to try out my new App for learning German. I had a full battery, and went at it. After several lessons, the phone would freeze. I was forced to remove the skin and pull the battery to get out of it. This continued to happen, and as time went on it became more frequent. It finally got to the point where the phone was unusable. Everyone was telling me to lose the App, so I removed it. I decided to download a few games instead. A short time later I had another opportunity to spend some time and tried playing the games. The same thing happened that did with the German language App. After a short time of playing the phone would freeze. Removal of the skin and battery was required. Freezing occurred more frequently as time went on. Then one evening I placed the phone on the charger and left it for an over night charge. The next morning I took the phone and left for work. A few hours into the day I noticed that the phone was beeping and when I checked it it was indicating that the battery was low and it needed to be charged. That evening when I got home I put it on the charger and left it charge over night. The next morning when I checked the phone it was very warm and although the screen said it was charging, it was frozen. I decided to take it back to the AT&T store.Sony Xperia Acro, Apple iPhone 4 , Samsung I9000, Apple iPhone 4S, iPhone 3GS , LG P970, Samsung Galaxy S II, Verizon Motorola Droid , PAE15i Unlocked Android , Apple iPhone 4S, Sony Ericsson Xperia, Samsung S5830EUBLK, Apple Iphone 4 , Quad Band Dual SIM, Samsung Infuse 4G, LG Optimus 4X, Apple iPhone 4 , Galaxy S Blaze 4G, BlackBerry Bold 9790 , Unlocked AT T Branded, Samsung Galaxy Note II, Samsung Galaxy Ace, LG Optimus 4X HD, PAE8000 Unlocked, Sony Xperia sola, HTC Inspire Unlocked, Sony Xperia sola MT27i-RED, Samsung GT-I9300, Apple iPhone 5 , Samsung GT-S7500L, SAMSUNG GT-P3100, SAMSUNG GT-S7500L , Nokia Lumia 710, iPhone 4S White, Apple Iphone 4 , Apple iPhone 5 , HTC X310E , Samsung Galaxy S2, Sony Ericsson Xperia , Samsung Galaxy S II, Blackberry Bold 3, Blackberry 9800, Lg G2x, Samsung Galaxy S , Nokia 808, New Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, LG GD510 , Sony Xperia Go ST27i , Apple iPhone 5 , Sony Xperia P LT22i-RD
The AT&T store replaced the phone for me instead of forcing me to deal with AT&T returns and getting a re manufactured one in return. I set this phone up and downloaded my Apps again including the German language App. The phone worked fine. I thought this was the end of the problems that I had just gotten a defective phone. NOT! At about the 1 year anniversary of my owning the phone I noticed that the battery would drain within a few hours. I would leave it on the charger over night and never get a 100% full battery, and by the time I got home around dinner time it was a red flashing sliver. I was not happy and did not want to have to buy a new battery for this phone already. I nursed it along for a few months like this, until one day I dropped the phone and the skin popped off and the battery fell out. I put it back in and snapped the skin back on. From that point the battery charged fully, and did not run out within a few hours. But, this only lasted a few days until the battery drain issue appeared again. I have to remove the skin and battery, and then charge and it would be fine for a few days to a week at a time. This cycle still occurs to this day. Now other symptoms are appearing. The phone will not ring when the ringer is ON and volume UP. I'll get no messages either, and my wife will jump on me for never answering my phone or messages. The phone is now possum freezing. It looks like it's working, you can slide the lock over and select the phone function and go to your contacts list and select a number then Call and the Call button goes red like its making the call, but in reality nothing is happening. Again, the removal of the skin and battery will rectify this issue and the messages and missed calls log will immediately appear. Too late.
So in conclusion, I like the reception, the phone has always gotten good reception. I have no complaints about dropping calls as its extremely rare. The fit and feel of the phone is solid and durable. When it held a charge properly it would be for days. But the phone has serious issues. Its constant battery and App issues are not only annoying, but an inconvenience. Thankfully its a simple fix, but we should not have to do that. The ATRIX is a big disappointment. My wife recently gave her old Propel to our son and we purchased an iPhone 4S and I have to tell you I am impressed with that phone and the features it offers. I have to wait another year or pay a higher price for an iPhone 4S, so I'll have to try to nurse the ATRIX along for another 10 months before I can get an iPhone 4S. I cannot recommend this phone to someone, its just not reliable.Samsung I9000T , Apple iPhone 5, Sony Xperia S LT26i-WH, SONY ERICSSON XPERIA, Samsung Galaxy Y Duos, Apple iPhone 5, Samsung GT - i9020, Nokia Lumia 900, Sony Xperia ION LT28i , Blackberry 9780, Apple iPhone 4, Samsung T989, Motorola Droid 3, HTC HD2 Windows 3G, Apple iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Apple iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3GS , Apple iPhone 4S, Motorola Atrix HD, Sony Xperia P Lt , HTC One S 4g , BlackBerry 9780, Samsung GT-S6102, Apple iPhone 4S, NOKIA LUMIA 800, Blackberry Curve 9360, Sony Ericsson Xperia, MOTOROLA RAZR XT910, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 , Motorola Droid RAZR, HTC T320e, Apple iPhone 4 8GB, BlackBerry Curve 9380 , LG Optimus L7 P705, Sony Xperia Go ST27i, HTC Vivid 4G, Nokia E7-00 , Motorola Droid RAZR , RIM Blackberry Bold 9790, LG Nitro HD LG-P930, Apple iPhone 4, Blackberry Curve 9220, Apple iPhone 4S ,
