Named a "best buy" from a leading consumer magazine two years in a row, the entry-level Sole F63 treadmill is loaded with features typically found in more expensive machines. All Sole treadmills are outfitted with powder-coated, all-steel welded frames and heavy-duty, stable inclines. The F63 also includes an ultra-reliable 2.5-horsepower continuous-duty motor and all-steel zinc-coated balanced flywheel, creating a secure, quiet, vibration-free running/walking surface. The flywheel is much heavier than most other brands, giving runners the fluid motion they're accustomed to at the gym. To accommodate runners with balky joints, Sole added a low-impact, 1-inch phenolic deck. The deck's shock-absorbing design greatly reduces the impact to your feet, ankles, knees, hips, and spine, making it comfortable for frequent runners or for users with running- and walking-related injuries. The F63 makes it easy to track your workout progress via the vibrant 6.5-inch LCD display, which includes windows for speed, incline, time, distance traveled, calories, pulse, and pace. The console also sports a 1/4-mile track and a peak-and-valley graph for different programs, along with an integrated sound system for listening to your iPod or MP3 player (the system includes built-in speakers and a sound cord that plugs into your player's headphone jack). Perhaps the handiest feature is the integrated message window, which offers scrolling messages that walk you through the treadmill's features or the workout itself. The message window will also recap your entire routine after you're finished, so you can see your progress from workout to workout.

The F63 comes complete with six automatic programs--including cardio training and fat burning options--and two customizable programs, so you can challenge yourself with multiple routines. Or you can opt to control the speed and incline manually. The speed range is adjustable from 1 to 10 miles per hour and the incline varies between 0 and 15 percent. And to reduce space, the F63 boasts an Easy Assist folding deck design. This unique feature allows you to release the deck, step back, and watch the deck unfold itself. When you're done with your workout, simply fold it back up and store it out of the way. Other features include a 20-by-55-inch running deck, a large stop switch, cooling fans, armrest speed and incline controls, and a low-profile running hood that doesn't get in the way of your running gait.

Product Description
The Sole® T63 treadmill boasts a continuous-duty 2.5 HP motor that delivers challenging speeds up to 10 MPH and inclines up to 15%. As an additional perk, the console is designed with built-in speakers, which allow you to plug in your MP3 player for a rockin' ride.

Really like this treadmill. It is quiet, and it has more functions than we will ever use in our home, plus it is well made and the large 2.5 inch rollers really make it easy to use.XMark Fitness Vertical, PowerBlock Classic , Livestrong® LS5.0R, XMark Fitness Vinyl, V2300 Elliptical Bike, Stamina CPSIndoor , ProForm 385 CSX, Proform Power 1080 , Cycleops Mag, Neoprene Dumbbell , Avari Magnetic , Nautilus R514 , M3 Plus Indoor Cycle, Xiser Commercial Stepper , Precor EFX 5.23 , Schwinn Airdyne AD4,. That said, we are walkers and not runners. I warm up at 3 mph for for a minute, then progress to 4.5mph (am a little over 6ft 1in) and vary the incline from 2 - 4 degrees. My comfort zone for max sweating is about 4.3mph. My wife (at 5ft 4in) settles in mid 3mph range for her turn on the treadmill, and she uses the fans and mp3 player while she is on it.

We have a TV in our exercise room, and we do not have to turn the sound up more than one or two clicks when the machine is going... honestly, my mother-in-law is way more difficult to drown out than this unit is...

The toughest part of this whole deal was getting the 260 pound unit up to our second floor workout room. Dang-it man, that was a pain the the you know where, but, it is well built and quite solid.

Excellent treadmill that does what it is supposed to do without breaking the bank.

I recently purchased my Sole F63 from Dick's Sporting Goods for around $700. The store associate told me that Sole is definitely in the top three best treadmill brands. So I made the purchase and hauled it home (Dick's is pretty good about having their treadmills in stock at the store). The box was definitely on the heavier side but it only took about an hour and a half to put the treadmill together; there's only seven steps and it takes just one person to put together, although an extra set of hands definitely doesn't hurt.

So here's when the problem came along. I was about 15 minutes into my FIRST time using it when I received an "Elevation Error" message. I got off the treadmill and it then took on a mind of its own. The deck seemed to raise all the way up and then there was a sudden bang sound. I took the hood off the front (where the motor and other mechanical parts are) and noticed that the bolt attached to the incline motor had actually come out of its cylinder piece, which is what makes the deck incline/decline. So the next day I made a call to Sole's technical support. I explained the problem and they shipped me the parts I needed and I was told a technician would call to set up a time to come fix it. I ended up not receiving a call and had to call Sole back to get the number of the technician. I then had to call him and set the time up myself. He came to my house the next day and had the problem fixed in about an hour. He did tell me that the problem I had was a fairly common issue with the F63.
